How the hell do we replace Lockers!!!

Post by cpwigan »

Who could throw a money pass like that at such a key point in the game. If it had been Lewis/Sterling/Lockyer/Johns/Thurston we would have been salivating BUT this was a loose forward and a Brit!!!

Every time Lockers does something like that I think how can we replace him.

Hoffman has tweeted saying Lockers is the most underrated player rugby league and one of the top 10 players in the world.

On the flip side I never thought we'd replace Andy Farrell and IMO Lockers is better.

The only answer I can see right now would be MM to 13

I honestly don't think we can replace him and its a worry as we don't perform as well without him.

Thjat is my concern. Show me a loose forward in the world that has the workrate AND can ball play!

he's key to how we play, he holds defences as they don't know if he's gonna pass or plough into them, that frees up players when we do our "move"

He's still not vocal enough to be captain :exc:

Rubbish!!!
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I've said for years, in fact since he turned 18, he has improved into the best loose forward I have seen

Told him then he would be captain of Wigan, and you can ask him, & told him since, many times, he has been one of our best captains, better than Andy Farrell!!
