No drinking within view of the pitch at the GF

I am still not sure why they are enforcing this rule at a rugby league match, you can drink at the challenge cup final but not here.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

At least I don't get wet when some twerp decides to throw it. Never understood why anyone would pay a fortune for a drink then throw it all over people.

If I recall, I'm sure this was in force at last years final as well. I agree I can do without beer being thrown everwhere.
I was going to buy a book called "The Power of Positive Thinking", and then I thought: What good would that do?

is it just a rule across any event at OT or is it something the RFL have imposed?

Not sure, I know that at any football match you can't take beer to seats.

Great, means folk won't be up and down all the match for ale and a squirt!
