Wigan v Hull FC
Friday the 13th!
The way its going, I can see a repeat of the "You're not fit to wear the shirt!" game against Huddersfield a few years back.
Hope so because if memory serves, we never looked back from that!

Just read this on the BBC web site in Wanes after match comments.
"It'll be a tough week. I wish we were playing Hull FC tomorrow. "
What is he going to do? Flog them in training again, the fool?
Shout louder? Play more full contact training games?
Completely knacker the team before kick off?

Dave. If he's actually come out and said that, and meant it, we all have cause for concern!DaveO wrote:Just read this on the BBC web site in Wanes after match comments.

Is this the same Wigan team that should have stuffed Saints at OT? They look a shadow of themselves! Somebody has got to take responsibility, should it be IFL, Rads, Waney, or the players?Kittwazzer wrote:Dave. Blackadder : Tell me do you ever stop bullying and shouting at the lower orders?
Wellington : NEVER! There's only one way to win a campaign shout, shout and shout again.
Blackadder : You don't think that inspired leadership and tactical ability have anything to do with it?
Wellington : NO! It's all down to shouting. WAAGGHH!

Perhaps it will be a tough week of evaluating whats going wrong, planning solutions and implementating them?

Re: Wigan v Hull FC
Perhaps not, "I wish we were playing tomorrow."
Is he implying that that performance would beat Hull FC?
Maybe something like:
"We are going to sit down like adults, discuss where things went wrong and then devise a strategy with my Leadership Group.
Once said strategy has been finalised, we are going to communicate it to the more junior members of the team, listen to their feedback and then have a day out at a country spa. These players are hurting and need a day of rehab.
I'm also going to get on the phone to MM in Australia and speak to a few other wise-heads. Somethings not right and I can't quite put my finger on it.
Regarding the fans, I apologise wholeheartedly for another wasted trip across them there green hills.
Please be rest assured that we are going to get ourselves out of this mess."
