Take him if we get Carney in his place.

I'd be sorry to see him go. A very good wingman is Josh.
Just because he got distracted from his game doesn't mean he won't come good this season for us or that he will be less than good for Sale.
So that'll be 3 threequarters gone in a year.
Not good is that.
Although Manfredi, Gelling and Gildart have all signed four year deals recently. If Carney is signed then I can't see any less that a 2 year deal with a further 1 year option, maybe 3 year plus 1?

With no reserve league last year and a coach who dropped him at the first opportunity how could he come good last year?

One of my favourite players be sad if he does go
Especially if the rummors are true and we get Carney. I cant see any good off field from having a player who sleeps with one of his best friends wifes
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Been coming for a while this one.

Personally I think he will go well in Union.

I assume he'll be getting more money so good luck to him but I'd rather he stayed

I'd look at someone like Tom Johnstone at Wakey, big and strong with plenty of pace.
I'm sure he could fulfil his potential at a top club.

What about a winger who can kick?

Winger is probably the position you can most get away with an "average" player, especially if they have a decent centre

Josh Mantellato?

As long as his performances don't drop this season because of this then I have no worries about him leaving at all especially if we get carney as his replacement.
