Roadshow This Saturday
Warriors Live Roadshow in Wigan Town Centre this Saturday
Games, players, mascots, cheerleaders, plus the Challenge Cup in attendance
Event at Market Place on Saturday (18th June), 11am-2pm
The brand new ‘Warriors Live’ Roadshow launches this coming Saturday (18th June) at Market Place in Wigan Town Centre.
After the Warriors’ Super League fixture with Widnes on Thursday, attentions turn the Challenge Cup clash with Castleford Tigers. Preparations start one week ahead of the highly anticipated Quarter Final clash as the Warriors Live team will be in town this Saturday afternoon between 11am and 2pm.
Warriors stars Ben Flower, Dom Crosby and Kyle Shelford* will be in attendance to meet with fans between 12pm and 1pm, pose for photos and sign autographs, and you may even be lucky enough to catch Mascot Mighty Max and see the Challenge Cup trophy outside the adjacent Ladbrokes store.
At the roadshow there will also be the chance to test your skills on the Errea Passing Challenge, as well as casting your vote on which of the current 6 options will be the Warriors home shirt in 2017.
Fans in attendance will also have the chance to enter an incredible competition which will see the winner and a guest travel with the team and be part of the squad for Wigan’s away trip to Perpignan to face Catalans Dragons at the beginning of July – including flights, food and a behind-the-scenes experience that has never been seen before.
Paul MacLeod, Marketing Manager at the Warriors commented:
“We’re excited to bring the new Warriors Live roadshow to Market Place this Saturday ahead of the upcoming Challenge Cup Quarter Final.
“With music, the Passing Challenge, mascots, cheerleaders, players and Challenge Cup trophy, there will be plenty going on for fans of all ages.”
Wigan Warriors face Castleford Tigers in Quarter Finals of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup at the DW Stadium on Saturday 25th June. Season Ticket holders can still claim their seat with a £5 discount on normal match prices online HERE and from the Ticket Office – 0871 6633 552

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
