Flower Charged
Ben Flower has been charged with a Grade C offence following his dismissal against Warrington on Friday.
The Wigan prop was sent off in the win at the Halliwell Jones Stadium after making contact with Declan Patton in the 57th minute of the game.
If found guilty, the charge carries a sentencing guideline of 2-3 games.
The Wigan Club will attend Ben’s hearing tomorrow.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Flower Charged
Better he gets banned now than lose us another Grand Final. We should have got shot after he brought opprobrium on the club in '14.
Re: Flower Charged
How is he getting 2-3 and for me its correct when Lance Hohia got 1. Not arguing he is getting something he does not deserve just lack of consistency by the RFL.
For me he will get a 2 game ban, otherwise the RFL could open a can of worms if they let a player off a ban for the final from another side.

Re: Flower Charged
Totally agree re the RFL but the lenency and inconsistency the RL show hurts the game. If we want a better sport we need to be much more decisive and pro-active.

Another example. Greenwood instigates a ounch up. incites a brawl and gets a slap on the wrist.

Shocking rfl sending off sufficient he was turning away almost had his back to him and Patton was sat up within 3 seconds hardley cleaned him out any body wants a ban it should be Hicks sometimes these refs cause flair ups/bad tackles through bad decisions should be getting pats next year
Re: Flower Charged
The moment the RFL clam down on tackling and speed up the POTBs you will see a far better sport Joe.
