O’Loughlin has ‘remote chance’ of playing in Grand Final

As much as I love Lockers, I think he should sit this out ????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Just like Sandow has a chance for the Wire!

I'd bench him in place of Shorrocks.

Its a gamble, but one worth taking. I think he will offer more in 10/15 mins than we will get from shorrocks at this stage in his career.

Only back fires if Powell gets injured.

I would go further and have Sam, Micky Mac and Dom on the bench. Imagine the sheer terror the wire players would have at the thought of those coming off the bench in the final :baaa:

Wouldn't surprise me in the least if Sandow plays but Lockers??? He's been a great player for Wigan but not being match fit and breaking down in the warm up recently is not a good basis for playing in such an important game. Think we're up against it anyway this time without the risk of losing a player maybe early on in the match. Don't do it Sean - be remembered for the great player you are and give your body a well deserved rest.
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

I think he has earned the right to decide.
Looking back at our recent games, Bretherton and Shorrocks can be exposed in a way that even a half fit Sean would not. I would not lose any sleep either way, as between him and Shorrocks. I always wondered whether he was gearing up for this...

Me too.
Shorrocks only played about 15 minutes on Friday, if we can get 15 - 20 out of Lockers I reckon it's worth the risk.
