Re: Crosby to Warrington
As I said on the other thread, I'm very disappointed with Wigan Warriors, if this is true, for letting another player who has come through the academy & earned his place into the the first team on merit!
Where has this so called wanting "a team full of home grown players" suddenly gone?? Angry
Our young forwards are not ready to be playing Super League week in week out IMO although on saying that, Ryan Sutton has done exceptionally well this year ????????

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Crosby to Warrington
FPN = 3 players having to leave I understand; Burke and ? and ?
Re: Crosby to Warrington
When was the last top game any of those 3 had?
Couldn't lace FPN boots.
But lets keep them because they came through the academy...

Who me? No, he's not shit. He's just rarely the best prop on the pitch. He's probably our 5th best prop at the club and he's struggled with injuries over the last few years.

Does it make Wire stronger? In my view yes if he replaces Bailey. Does it make Wigan weaker? Yes, if we are replacing him with Romain. If Crosby going provides us with enough salary cap to sign a class centre then I would argue that the team overall will be stronger.

As an aside the signings of Blyth, Cooper, Crosby, a new contract for Dwyer and salary upgrades for all their young players, who and how many are going?

Re: Crosby to Warrington
If true it's interesting,I think we are seeing a new direction for the club with a buying policy rather than a total reliance on Orrell and it's production line.

IMO Josie I rate Flower, Clubb, FPN & TT more than Crosby.josie andrews wrote:Who are the four before him that are better?AdamMac wrote:Who me? No, he's not shit.
