Another Opportunity Missed

Post by Southern Softy »

Richie Myler signs a 3-year deal with Leeds from next season.
If we were serious about scoring tries and being an attacking side, he's exactly the kind of player that could have galvanised the team. I suppose what counted against him was that he wasn't a prop!

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Always felt he should be near the top of the pile but for some reason just falls short for me.

Leeds will make or break him.

He offers a lot more than Trent Hodkinson in my book!

Well let's hope we get a few more 'average' players in for next season then.

Slight correction we don't sign props we sign prorowers ( players that fall between second row and prop but aren't particularly either)

I don't think Myler is a big miss considering that when Escare comes back we have the option of Sam in the halves

Personally i think one of the biggest miss was rankin, he's a genuine utility player with pace to burn and I'm guess as hudds bought him not that expensive
