DWYER TO LEAVE WIRE AT END OF SEASON

Post by josie andrews »

Warrington Wolves can confirm that hooker Brad Dwyer will leave the club at the end of the season having signed for Leeds Rhinos.

Dwyer, 24, made his Warrington debut in March 2012. He has since made 85 appearances including last year’s Challenge Cup Final at Wembley, off the bench. He’s crossed for 15 tries in total and holds heritage number 1100.

He’s made 21 appearances this season including the Dacia World Club Series win over Brisbane Broncos back in February.

During his time at Warrington, Dwyer also spent time on loan at Huddersfield, 2013, and London, 2015.

Karl Fitzpatrick, Wolves’ chief executive, said: “I’d like to thank Brad for his contribution to the club. He came through our youth programme and has always given 100%. However, an opportunity has presented itself for him to gain more game time. He will go with our blessing but before his departure I know he will be doing his all to ensure we are successful in the Qualifiers.”

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The biggest Room is the Room for improvement.

The best form of defence is attack!!

Out of the black and into the red, remember you don't get anything for two in a bed!!

Perhaps Parcell has a release clause in his contract so he can leave Leeds should an offer come in from an NRL club.
