Re: Sam to Catalan?
Be absolute madness to let him go.
Escare nowhere near Sams class, Lockers May well retire so we can’t let him go.
Also what is happening with Gildart?

Re: Sam to Catalan?
There is no way that Sam would move to a team with no hope of winning anything at this stage of his career. It's more likely this has something to do with contract negotiations, I'm sure he feels that he has one more big contract in him. Perhaps we've hinted that we'll not offer as much this time. Clearly, Sam will never regain the pace he had years ago but equally clearly he is running our team this season and is the player we miss most (even more than Lockers now) when unavailable.

It will be money that counts. If they raise his money to more than the Dragons offer he'll stay at Wigan if not!!!!!
Re: Sam to Catalan?
Williams I am off to the NRL no to Warrington. No I will sign a marquee deal with where I am. Sounds familiar.
Now insert Gildart, Sutton, Bateman and say Catalan for Tomkins all a move designed to get a bigger deal by us.

Two reasons. Firstly, he is a home bird and secondly, he has 18 months on his current contract and IFL won't release him.medlocke wrote:Why?
Do you think he will go?

Sorry, but being a home bird is not a reason seeing as he has lived on the other side of the world for a decent period of timeshaunedwardsfanclub wrote:Two reasons. Firstly, he is a home bird and secondly, he has 18 months on his current contract and IFL won't release him.medlocke wrote:Why?

There's no need to be sorry! My view is that he will stay, I presume that you disagree?medlocke wrote:Sorry, but being a home bird is not a reason seeing as he has lived on the other side of the world for a decent period of timeshaunedwardsfanclub wrote:Two reasons.
