Really pleased he is staying - one of the best players in the world has dedicated his future to Wigan, got to be a good advert to players thinking about coming here.
Hope that the fans appreciate him taking a pay cut, I know he gets paid a fair whack at Wigan - however he could have played out his last few prime years for a lot more money (England appearances are worth a few quid) in a less competitive (and not to mention less physical) environment. The fact that he is staying with his home town club (and will essentially be a one club player) speaks volumes about him
And I bet some of his comments made Farrell feel a bit guilty :eusa14:
