Does anyone know why dennis is having a testimonial this year, even though he retired the year before? dont get me wrong im going the match and bringing the usual contingent of 5 lads from liverpool whom im slowly comverting to the REAL beautiful gameand all. I just wondered why hes having one when hes already retired

Because Farrell had one last year so he couldn't have he's then.
Bit a farce imo. I can think of better candidates for a testomonial than Betts. Neil Cowie for example. Even Gary Connolly before Betts. Still at least he is giving all the proceeds to charity.
Why we are only having one friendly? Couldn't tell you. Probably because they prefer a trip to the sun.
