Danny Campbell
Sad news.
He was a real fans favourite in the late 70’s / early 80’s.

“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

Re: Danny Campbell
Very sad, great with the fans in the pre & early Robinson/Lindsay era when the club was down.
Re: Danny Campbell
Old school prop when the school was still new...
Tough, honest and gritty forward that always ran his blood to water, and who just about saw Wigan's start of dominance in the mid 80's.
Condolences to his wife and family

RIP Big Fellah, I enjoyed a pint or two with him in Chaplin's after a match. A great character.

RIP Danny sincere condolences to his family & friends
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
