I wouldn't go as far as to say they were outplayed from start to finish. I thought the defence from the Cowboys was brilliant in the first half. They knew they'd try and play it out wide to Richards and the defence moved virtually every time to cover it. Same in the middle too, Rauhihi and Southern tackled superbly, often the Wests play makers were static looking for an option or a gap in the Cowboys line.

The second half was a lot better for the Tigers though, I thought their half backs came into it more as the big men tired (same towards end of the first half too I suppose). There were times in the game where the extra size of the Cowboys pack showed, they took them back 5 or so metres in the tackle on several occassions, good attacking defence.

Great final to watch and overall the Wests deserved it and I was pleased that atleast one Wigan player next year will be a champion!

well they was out played on the day by the West tigers as the score line proves ur disagreeing for the sake of it
I said the Wests deserved to win, just thought the Cowboys deserved a bit of credit.

What a game. That was an absolute cracker.

Pat showed us a little of what I hope to see for next season from what good press he has been getting Down Under.

Now, if I'm I good boy next year, do you think Father Xmas could bring Benji Marshall to the Warriors as well?

:D lol, probably have more chance of Rugby League 2 coming out over here before Xmas than getting Benji or Bowen.
