Two friends and I went to Edge Hall Road 'Celeb Spotting' last Friday. Predictably we arrived too late to see any, having spent to long on lunch, but were fortunate to meet Claire Taylor and Wayne Joyce who were there to discuss aspects of the potential future use of the venue. They were obviously busy, but nevertheless seemed pleased to spend some time talking to us about Edge Hall Road in particular, and The Warriors in general. We were struck by how committed, knowledgable and enthusiastic they both were. It was a real pleasure to share some thoughts with them and I have to say that if the future of the Club is in the hands of young professionals like these two, then the future is bright indeed.
