New women’s website & list of 50 best players

Post by Richard de la Riviere »

Hi all!

Another rl writer and I have set up a new website for the women’s game: www.womensrl.com. There’s a piece with Denis on the latest injury news and the return of Georgia Wilson. There’s also the interview with Gemma Walsh from the Wigan Legends book I wrote last year.

This week, we’ll be revealing our list of the best 50 British players. Here are the first ten (50-41): https://womensrl.com/?p=119

We’ll reveal ten a day until Friday.

Hope you enjoy it! Feel free to leave comments and to follow us on social media.

Twitter & Insta: @womensrldotcom
Facebook Group (called Women’s Rugby League): https://www.facebook.com/groups/2202079126808446

Thanks!

Thank you Richard, was only talking about this on Saturday at Warrington at the Wigan Warriors Women’s & Academy games.

Great that they are being recognised with their own site. 👏🏼👏🏼
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I’ll get Neil to send you an email Richard via the WRHS

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall
