Warrington Wolves may have got the victory over St Helens, but they had to do it down to 12 men for much of the game.
In a game where both sides had a number of players out, we were still treated to a thriller on Friday night where Warrington emerged victorious 24-10 at the Totally Wicked Stadium.
Even being down to 11 men for ten second-half minutes, tries from Matty Ashton, Matt Dufty, Adam Holroyd and Matty Nicholson sealed the victory and ensured Sam Burgess’ side would finish Round 18 in second-place
With Hull FC’s shock victory over Wigan Warriors, Warrington now sit just two points off the top of the table, albeit with Wigan having a game in hand, which will come against Leigh Leopards.
James Harrison was sent off after just 20 minutes on Friday night, for making head contact using his shoulder – and the repercussions have now been made clear by the Match Review Panel.
Warrington Wolves star banned for crucial Wigan Warriors and Hull KR games
James Harrison was today handed a Grade D Head Contact charge and will miss two matches unless Warrington decide to appeal the charge and are successful.
That means he’ll miss two huge games: against Wigan Warriors and Hull KR, the two sides they’re currently sandwiched in between at the top of the Super League table.
Elsewhere, three fines were given to players from other Super League sides, namely Ricky Leutele of Leigh Leopards, Sadiq Adebiyi of London Broncos and Shane Wright of Salford Red Devils.
All three were Grade B Dangerous Contact charges, resulting in £250 fines.
A full overview of the charges handed out by the Match Review Panel can be found below.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Did worry about Tyler Dupree and his sin bin but no mention.
Thought the Hull lad who coat hangered Jack Farrimond might have got listed and have had to make a contribution to the RFL week away fund!
Surprised nothing about him!

Yes, it wasn't brutal or malicious, but it was a proper coat-hangering
the like of which have been penalised in the past.

Yet again no consistency with the Disciplinary Panel.
If it had been a Wigan player taking out the opposition one on one, with a high tackle, they would have recieved a ban.
