Grand Final Trains - not running (or will be very limited)

i know this is a bit early (and i'm not pre-empting that Wigan are there), but there is only a rail replacement between Wigan / Bolton and Manchester on 12th October, so anyone planning on going anyway may need to look at alternative transport

it does look like there may be a train direct (assuming to Piccadilly) but last year, they were all cancelled on the way home from about 8.30pm to 10.30pm

the rail replacement is for the lines that go through Hindley / Bolton or Hindley / Atherton to Manchester. You can catch the train again at Bolton but nothing on the other line

The train from Wigan goes via Oxford Rd and onto Victoria
