I see this lad is to leave yet another club at the end of the season. It's just not seemed to work out for the lad after showing so much promise early on. I don't know him, but I understand he's a nice bloke, so I hope he finds his feet and can settle down somewhere

Shame was a beast coming through and for me he probably suffered because of that size and dominance. I know he's a big lad but I always wanted him to be tried at centre I think his skill set and his lack of dog/aggression may have seen him push through out wide. Hope he can still find an opportunity as there was a good player in there.

unfortunately being big as a child doesnt always help when it comes to open age rugby. we had a couple of lads at my age group who were massive, and just squatted players aside week in week out, but as soon as they started playing against players similar size, they went missing and despite being touted for the top, never actually made it in the game. Sounds very similar to Samy, although he is actually making a career, albeit at lower levels
