London Broncos 14-12 Featherstone Rovers
Kian McDermott started at prop forward whilst Lukas Mason and Taylor Kerr came off the interchange bench to help the Broncos claim their first win of the Championship campaign.
Despite falling behind in the early stages, Liam Tindall crossed twice in three minutes to ensure London took an 8-6 lead into the break. The visitors went four points ahead with 10 minutes left on the clock when an intercept saw Carlos Tuimavave go the distance with Callum Turner converting.
A clever piece of play from Kerr at the play the ball saw the loose forward power through the Rovers defence to score a debut try. Chris Hellec added the extras to earn London two important points.

Widnes Vikings 10-8 Sheffield Eagles
Noah Hodkinson started at full-back for Widnes Vikings, who produced a hard-fought performance to record back-to-back Championship wins.
Rhys Williams crossed for a converted Widnes try three minutes before break, but Sheffield hit back through Matty Dawson-Jones to make the score 6-4 after 49 minutes. Matt Fleming restored the six-point lead before the hour, and despite the Eagles scoring in the closing stages, Widnes held on to remain joint-top of the table.

Oldham 18-18 Batley Bulldogs
George Hirst came off the interchange as Oldham scored a converted try at the death to salvage a point at Boundary Park.
Oldham started strongly as tries from Jack Johnson and Riley Dean gave Sean Long’s side an 8-0 lead inside 15 minutes. Batley responded shortly after when Joe Burton crossed in the corner before Jayden Myers put the Bulldogs ahead minutes before the break.
Despite Johnson crossing again to level the contest at the interval, the Bulldogs built a six-point lead heading into the final 10 minutes. As time looked to have ran out, Oldham worked the ball wide to Johnson who completed his hat-trick in the corner with Josh Drinkwater adding the extras.
Swinton Lions 16-10 Whitehaven
Trent Kelly-Duffy featured for Swinton Lions in their League One victory over Whitehaven at Heywood Road.
Swinton opened the scoring inside five minutes through Jordan Paga and Dan Abram, but Whitehaven reduced the points difference to two with their own try soon after. Former Warriors youngster Harry Higham scored on the wing to extend the Lions lead to 12-4 at the break.
Despite the first points of the second half falling Whitehaven’s way, Higham rose highest to claim a kick and ground his second with three minutes remaining. Although the kick was unsuccessful, Swinton held on to start the League One season with two points.

Loan and Dual Reg Report
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
