Pretty slim I hope and that isn't defending Farrar.Elaine posted:

What does Clarke know about RL coaching?
Dave
Re: Clarkey for wigan
Nope, Clarke is not what this club needs.
He never stays for any length of time in anything and achieves little. As a player, even Dean Bell criticised his fighting spirit as a player.

No chance, he talks a good game for tv although I do wish he would stop admiring himself in the camera lens. Don't even think he likes Wigan RL much, he's very much a Saints fan these days
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Perhaps he's modeling himself of the Stevo knowing glance to camera.OJ posted:

That graphic is the most useless and farcical one I have ever seen use. It is absolutely meaningless.

Re: Clarkey for wigan
Sorry, but that is simply not true. I'm not arguing with anyone about Clarkey's coaching abilities, but the above quote is utter crap. Clarkey is Wigan through and through.OJ posted:

Anyone who thinks Phil is a Saints fan simply does not know him - end of.
He is a fan of how they play as is probably anyone with two eyes i their head at the minute, what else can you be they are the best at the moment, thing is... they do not give the trophies out at this time of year so I still like to think we are "hanging back for bets!"
Last time he was with us as cheif exec he suffered from one thing. He was a bit naive.
A chief exec's job is a bit like a captain on a boat, he overseas what everyone else is doing - when everyone is on top of their job he appears to be doing very little. Phil was surrounded by people who could do their jobs... very little for him to do... he was only naive in that he failed to make himself look busy!
Its the old scenario about walking around with a piece of paper in your hand - people then assume you are busy doing something.
I know the people who worked there and they all say he was doing a good job. Inmany ways he did too good a job and made himself redundant!
He is a top bloke and the one thing about this business with GB that people are forgetting is that he could have said nothing and just kept his head down and enjoyed the free trips around the world tht his job would have given him. Everytime we failed he would not have been the one people where holding responsible. It says eerything about his integrity that he chose to resign to make his point.
