Moran scores 10

Post by ian.birchall »

missed tackles unfortunately report Sky Sports. He may be an attacking full back as seen at London but not seen today. Unfortunately but most definately he isn't a defensive full back when we need one with the way we are leaking tries.

An attacking full back that gets his passes intercepted and kicks early in the tackle count into the legs of the player closest too him. I don't think he's good enough.

That just might be what I was hinting at?

Moran is not going to show up unles we can get him playing behind a decent pack that's making yards and breaking tackles, he is a broken field player who can be lethal at times, however playing as we are at the moment he is tending to do things far more deadly to his own team. I cant fault his effort, just his decisions at times are awful.
Orr is a better organiser, he just needs alot more runners to use or hes left with very little except the run of the mill things.
If we can get through this season and and remain in the league, I think everyone knows that we need the halfback situation looking at, it isn't working, maybe through no fault of their own, but it needs sorting.
Maybe Noble can bring over Deacon to partner Barret if we get him, we would have an organiser and kicker in Deacon, and a player who can create and take players on in Barret, they would form a good pairing I feel.
