Not a fan then...?

I love all sport, and will definitely be cheering England on. We have a great group of players, unfortunately I don't rate the coach at all.

Still, with a bit of good fortune, who knows how far we can go.
Footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they're injured. Rugby League players spend 80 minutes pretending they're not.

Yes. I hope England do well but more importantly I want to see quality attacking football. Something that is increasingly rare. I have actually enjoyed the reruns of the previous world cups currently being shown.

I'll be vaguely hoping they win a few games, but certainly won't be watching any. Got some grass growing that I need to keep an eye on...!

when does it start?

Why, if it's a sport we're not interested in?

I'd agree you had a point if we were saying we'd support another country instead of England, but there's no difference in saying we won't watch England at soccer to saying we won't watch England in, say, the Eurovision song contest.

Incidentally, I don't quite see the connection with the Wigan Warriors.

Im a football fan also (of the Arsenal variety not anything grown from Springfield). I'll be watching the games... I have a soft spot for France (obviously) and Brazil, so Ill be watching if I can.

Can anyone name 1 or more wigan athletic players in the world cup?[/u][/i][/b]

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall
