Over reacting moderators.

Post by lionmmark »

Why on earth are there so many heavy handed moderators on this board.
There appears to be messages deleted, threads blocked and people banned for fun.
If people wish to come on our board for reason other than RL, then so be it, no harm is done.
If no one is interested then it will not be replied to, and it will slip down the board anyway.
Chill out a bit, its like big brother is watching every move.
Its only a message board, for gods sake grow up and start acting your age.

I for one applaud the moderators from this site.
So many times do we see the same message posted over and over again under different threads just taking up space and wasting time.
I'm fairly certain, that the only postings being blocked or deleted are those that contravene the basic site rules as already posted.

Happy posting :D

If something is offensive, or is actually aimed at an individual in an offensive or threatening way, then yeh, I'm in agreement.
But there has been cases recently where threads have been blocked, and posts removed just cos they don't like it, and it may just say something they don't agree with.
It just seems a little petty to me.

the mods do a very good job here, that,s why you can get a good debate without the childisd nonsense you get on other forums

I tend to agree with you Lion mon; this board is just a little too serious at times. Maybe it's a reflection of the predicament that we find our club in ! So, I wished our fans would lighten up and enjoy some banter. All Rugby and no general banter makes Jack a dull boy !!!!

Cheers GreenV, you seem to be the one of the few human beings on here, who want to laugh and joke about things as well as debate the serious issues.
God knows what all the non warrior users must think of us on this site.

The mods do a good job, they let you have your say and even join in even though Im always right and they are wrong.

I have only seen them block spam and prats.

Keep the standard as it is I say, its much better than those silly sites.

I can't understand why my thread "Maybe a Protest" was blocked ! At 7,273 hits/reads it was the most popular read ( ever )on this site. It was better than Coronation Street !!! Okay, it strayed a little bit from the Fuhrers rules; but hey it was fun. Maybe I'll start another thread soon !!!

Bye, bye from CCW
