Anyone interested in RL games?
There has been a new RL game in the pipeline since last year and it is due out in October this year. The game is being made by a NZ firm and published by HE's Interactive in Australia.Anyone interested can have a look by going to http://www.hesinteractive.com/
Click on the NRL logo on the home page to see some very early screenshots and a very early demo that was released last year just before Christmas-download it and try it.Today they have updated the info by adding a new video clip of the game in its later stages which is far superior to the early screenshots/demo.
I have played the demo and for 4 months work its quite good. Some things had been left out like offloads and two man tackles to keep the file size down but you can see that the basic idea is good and the final version should be addictive.
People from Britain need to send E-Mails to HE'S to show them that their is demand for the game over here and that we want SL teams in the game.Europe distribution is planned but they have not yet decided who will be selling the game.It would be a shame if we dont have SL teams in such a great game and if everyone interested E-Mails them it could just convince them into getting the rights to include SL teams.
