Packed House

Post by Gary Fletcher »

I believe Warrington are bringing about 4'000 - 5'000 fans tonight. The atmosphere should be amazing. I think Wigan-Wire is the biggest derby in super league

I was speaking to my mate this morning and we reckon 18,500 - 19,000 tonight. We had 16,450 when we last played them and that was on SKY. With Fielden playing and with it NOT being on SKY I think we will get a good crowd. Wire always make loads of noise and it should make for a fantastic atmosphere. I must admit though that I have relinquished my usual seat in the East Stand for a VIP Corporate ticket which includes Drinks, 4 Course meal, Padded seats in the West Stand and drinks after the game. Wonder if I wil get the prawn sandwiches as well  It was too good an opportunity to turn down the luxury just for one game. :)

Yeah but Warington are without key players tonight but it should be a close game whatever happens. Its Fielden Vs Parker (funnily enough both ex-bradford, what a shame) and Dobson Vs Briers. Its gonna be awesome innit? Nop matter what happens lets hope for an entertaining game.
the fans will play a big part in it too

Briers to prove a point

Post by Gary Fletcher »

Lee Briers will be out to prove a point tonight agianst Noble coz he left him out of the GB squad (again) so he may be on fire. Wigan have gotta close him down. do that and its sorted. but Dobson is a good a kicker i believe. Dobson must be the best goal kicker in Super League without question.
Much better than tickle.

Its gonna be good tonight oh yeah

I think it will be an even tussle in the forwards and the play the ball areas hte outcome of the game will be decided by either Dobson or Briers's kicking gmaes, would'nt you agree
