That's all well and good, but I'd rather he went somewhere else if it means we can keep Fielden. The same with all these other ex-Wigan players that are doing ok at their new clubs - Moron at Widnes, Wild and Aspy at Hudds - them going has generally led to better alternatives coming in to Wigan, although I'll admit it's taken a while for Calderwood to settle and the McAvoy/Rads centre combination was not what we expected at the start of the year!

KB wasn't scoring any tries for us, couldn't even get in the team, and him going has helped release money to pay for the best prop in the league. Sometimes hard decisions have to be made, although KB vs Fielden is not really such a big decision in my mind. And since he's gone, McAvoy and Orr have both done very well in the positions that Brown would be considered for.
