I would have to agree with all the points above, still not convinced about Faz but there is no way he cant line up in the starting 13.

Have you ever seen a player so destructive in attack. I dont know how he manages to offload everytime?!! His arm appears to just stretch out the tackle with ease.
He was definately worth the wait with him being injured last year.
Well done lad

Just imagine if he had some pace we would have the new Gene Miles! Once played against Danny in his warrington days in the accedemy set up and he played stand off he took us apart that day with his long balls to either flank.

why the hell cant he?

he is just as accountable as any other player in the team, more so in fact as skipper, and seemingly demi-god?

other players doin perfectly good jobs, get ushered out, using perfectly CRAP excuses, like matthew johns, o'neill n now ainscough

man u can n will manage without beckham

same applies @ wigan

No player is indispensable but some players are first name down on the team sheet when fit and Farrell is one of those along with Lam, Radlinski and one or two others.

The reason is this lot rarely string two poor games together back to back and deserve their place in the side on the back of their consistent performances for the club.

They are not perfect but in the real world you don't drop the likes of this lot lightly and what have any of them done, Farrell included, to deserve being dropped?

Nothing IMO which is why they are there every week - on merit.

Lam has had some poor games for Wigan. He started this season very quiet but no one suggested he was dropped.

Farrell is no different than Lam although it would appear some would drop him for not playing the way they want him to while forgiving far less capable players for worse.
