Fui is under contract with Parra for the next two years and has not requested a release. Not sure where the rumours came from

This rumour is nothing more than that at present, but don't assume that just because a player's under contract he can't be touched.

All that being under contract tends to mean these days, is that the interested club have to come up with a decent transfer fee, and as these don't count on the salary cap, they wouldn't be much of a problem for Wigan.

He does, however, need to ask the club he's contracted to for a release and this has not occurred as yet. He has also not expressed any interest in leaving the club or going to England.

I'm almost 100% positive he will be with us at least for next year. What happens from there will depend on the feeling in the club and what he thinks of the new coach. I know many of the Parra players don't agree with the choice of coach for next year so depending on what happens we could find a few of them moving on for 2008.

I am sure that the Wigan fans would all contribute to buy him a plane ticket!

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds
