The Future Is Bright
A few weeks ago i commented about having a flag for Mike Gregory, this was connected with a member of the consortium at Featherstone in Tony Kenney.
Well it made its first appearance at Widnes in Fed Final for about two minutes! as we got into a bit of trouble with it (was well worth it) as Tony was there and he saw it!
It is 18x9 - to view the flag click links below:

Of course there are other sizes that you can purchase.
Regards,
Chris

Re: The Future Is Bright
basically they said it was too big, and we werent allowed to hang it up from the netting on the roof and they again said it was a health and safety hazard. But we told them the situation and they allowed us to put it on the seating area for a few mins so we could take a few photos and for Tony Kenney and his family to see.
We used a company called http://www.barmyflags.co.uk (which is used by all sorts of clubs including a few from you lot)

Glad you got to display it. All the best. I believe from reading the rugby weeklies that you have been instrumental as a group in Fev signing some players. Congrats.

Re: The Future Is Bright
We havent had the best of times since Super League began, but with the investment with the consortium has created the enthusiasm and energy with new and old fans. Of course there are problems still within the club (all clubs have them) but with more support it will gradually improve.
Im really glad Widnes let us put the flag as it maybe the last chance he will see it at a game. So it meant a lot to me and other featherstone fans yesterday. Its a lot more than a flag.
Im sure Mike Gregory would love something similair.

Re: The Future Is Bright
I know exactly what you mean, problem for me is i use to see it every other week!
But now we have decentish facilities - new entrance to the ground for the ImpRovers (education facility) first aid room, toilets for all and new turnstiles. We also have put a lift in the clubhouse (as its on two floors) its more friendly with people with disabilities.
Out of Interest was the new Family stand built then or was it the old Bullock Shed (terracing)

Hard ground to win at Post Office Road back in the pre SL days. Deryck Fox pulling the strings behind a big set of forwards and the odd gem in the backs like a young Newlove or a Bibb.
