Best headline for THE LONG GOODBY

Post by jimofwigan »

I went on to the internet and had a look at the Aussie headlines concerning the departure of Long.

One that cought my eye was the one used in the Sydney Herald --- THE LONG GOODBYE

So using the same pun I came up with:-

IT'S A LONG WAY TO TIP YOUR MARY

THE LONG AND WINGING ROAD

A LONG TIME AGO IN SAINT HELENS SO THE CHOSEN PEOPLE SAY ,OUR SEAN LONG WILL BEAT A TRAIL HOME THEN HAVE NOT A LOT TO SAY. HARK NOW HEAR THE ANGELS SINGING---

LONGS HOME MERRYLY ON TIME

SO LONG IT'S BEEN GOOD TO KNOW YA

Can't think of any more

The long-est day

Long gone

That didn't take Long (if we beat the Aussies!)

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds
