Eamon O'Carroll

Post by Brett9 »

Anyone else agree that he deserves first team place next year? The games he played for us this year I though he played well and one was against Saints. I said earlier on in the season he is better than both Prescott and Hargreaves and now Bryn has left Im hoping that O'Carroll will be playing more next season. My choice of forwards would be Feka Higham Fielden Fletcher Hock O'Loughlin starting with replacement hooker O'Carroll, Hansen and Hill on the bench.

Who was the back on our bench last season? As far as I can remember we had a hooker, two second rows and a prop. . most of the time Godwin, Hansen, Tickle, Logan.

He's shown up well when he's played for us last season, despite (to me, at least) looking a little too short.

I don't think it's bulking up he needs, he's already chunky enough for his age, it's height. Not something you can work on in the gym, admittedly!

You don't have to be tall to be a prop. To me Eamonn looks like the best young prop we have in the physical sense, but still not ready for a full SL season. I'd like to see him appear abit more than he did last season though.

I wasn't as fit or strong as before but my two biggest muscles still worked - my heart and my head - Kris Radlinski.

At 5'11" he is not very tall is he, but he is strong and runs hard, perhaps two season before he is Super League standard but you never know.
