Re: Wigan v Leeds match

A great game from the whole team/squad. Paddy and Byrne who played few or no minutes last week played for long periods tonight. See MP chose not to put Thompson back on. What options the coach has! The forwards won it but the backs are sublime at times. Now looking a lot better with a pack dominant ...

Re: AIDAN SEZER TO JOIN HULL FC

Fans hope that Big Names will produce big games.
We'll have to see what happens there next season.

Re: Squads for Friday

Newman has been a beneficiary of our wayward passes in the past.
He'll be on the look out again this week and no doubt be part of the Leeds prep.

Re: Squads for Friday

Lets hope the "big match" nature of last week doesn't lead to a drop-off. The players should be sure that every match from now on is bigger than the last until the WCC is retained. Following Matty Peet's after match interview and his attitude towards our first half game I simply can't see...

Re: Penalty Stats

Does a club's "reputation" have an influence on refs when they prepare before a game? Last weeks binning of Leeming was a disgrace. He was penalised Kendal said because of the not late but high tackle on the Catalans player when kicking the ball. Visual evidence proved that it was not a hi...

Re: Disciplinary Rd 25

Thanks goodness all clear for us.

Matty Lees ban is for contact with a match official, not the tackle from which Josh Drinkwater stayed down and Lees was sin binned.
Sam Burgess's answer on that scenario will be interesting, provided of course he's asked the question.

Re: Penalty Stats

Thanks, interesting those stats.
We conceded most penalties but have least errors and made fewest tackles.

Re: Referee for Friday

The scrutiny of referee's decisions is more detailed then ever. Unless they are absolutely certain then they use the VR. Typical example from last Friday was Joe Burgess's try from Hiku's break. Hiku broke so fast with Burgess following him that the ref had no chance of keeping up. Smith went to the...

Re: Junior Nsemba

I think back to when Junior first took over from Willie Isa, he looked off the pace that first couple of games and wasn't playing the 80 mins. He's improved so much that he can now play the 80 and the coaches have paid him the massive compliment of moving the club captain from his usual left side to...
