It accepted my comment which was similar to yours mainly saying we hadn't played on it from October (when the pitch was fine) to Feb and only played two games since them.
It will be interesting to see if its published.
I think Robson probably thinks RL is still a winter game! (And that is being charitable).
I had my say and called him an old git at tyhe end... ewither it will be published/edited or neither.
It seems that all comments havent been published yet, maybe a flood of messages concerning the same topic and response has overwhelmed the sports online editor
Ironic that his last job was with a side that played it's home games in rugby union stadium. Didn't seem a problem to him then. Obviously his recent illness has shortened his memory.
Have sent a e-mail to the letters page of the sunday mail, highlighting our concerns re Mr Robsons babblings, and the lack of any comments being posted!!! I still dont think anything will be printed or posted, but I'll buy a paper to have a look!!!
I would imagine the pitch is this threadbare as it does not react to well to all the hair products and make up that seems to be worn by many a footballer these days. Just a thought!
Its accepted mine but isnt showing comments. i put
That article is a disgrace, before looking for blame maybe mr Robson should get his facts right. Rugby league is no longer a winter sport and until the last week or so wigan warriors hadnt played at the jjb since september. The pitch was a mess before super league started. Also i think you will find that the main reason the jjb was built mainly because of the rugby team as poor old athletic were in the second division. What enfuriates me the most is that people think that football is above any sport. If rooney and fabregas are so good they would be able to play on any surface and maybe use two feet for a change. wigan is a rugby town and always will be. The attendences speak for themselves, without the away following at the jjb for football matches the attendences would be shambolic.

Same here mike i let fly with both barrels and pointed out it was'nt the Latics staduim as they both have a lease to share the stadium. Also pointed out we hadnt played on the pitch from Sep last year to Feb this year. Told them to check there facts before printing such drivel
