Sometimes just sometimes i wish people would realise that SL is very competative and anyside can beat anyside on the day.
If SL was competitive we would not be being beat by a clear 36 points in a local derby by a team missing more players than we are due to injury.
There are no excuses for a performance like that. it iwas unacceptable.
The team has not put together one convincing display this season so far.
And stop the crap of when we lose we need a coach.
The coach has to take responsibility and we are making the same basic mistakes all the time. He needs to sort it out and quick or his contract should not be renewed.
its the same old same old from noble, it seems to me that he only knows the plays that he used at bradford, but there he had a pack and back line that could go forward.
To me all this stems from how poor the pack are, fielden has done nothing again and lockers went missing all the time.
Barret goes one way and lu lu goes the other.
I just cant see anything good to comment on apart from hansen who seemed to me to be the only player trying to go forward.
What is it with this wigan team do they not know what an honour it is to play for Wigan and wear the cherry and white.
A lot of this passion must come from the coach - i am not saying get rid but on todays performance lenegan needs to drag nobby in to his office and read him the riot act and i just hope that nobby has got the nuts to lay the law down to the players.
They will have to dig deep agains KR as there pack is very mobile.
All the Wigan players were awful today the only bright side was that Saints didn't score more than 46 points, if the conditions were better than the score could have been 60+.
The lack of leadership and organisation is a big concern, O'Loughlin isn't taking charge but Barrett isn't organising the attack either. I think Wigan are missing the experience of Bryan Fletcher especially when they are struggling.
I would love Edwards to take over but he's got bigger fish to fry - every chance of coaching a world cup side in the inferior code. I know he's a Wiganer through and through but his single-minded determination is focused somewhere else at present.

Talking to lots of fans, many are scratching their heads saying we were a decent team at the end of last season, the fare this season is poor. Am I alone in looking at the players and thinking they look lethargic, lacking agility, speed off the mark. Physically they seem to be outgunned.
Which begs the question is Mike Forshaw to blame? what exactly are his qualifications in terms of fitness etc? I think back to say Bob Lannigan and you could see he made a positive difference. Forshaw? Negative?
It was woeful. I hated the first half because I hate SL 2008. The referees seem to be killing the game but then I think we if they are lets stand 11 yards back. I would rather do that than concede 50 yards at each penalty.
The structure with ball in hand is dire. Just to balancewhat people are saying. Colbon I do not think has it. Never has. Goulding had it. I saw him play year in year out for the academy. Is he a victim of the Forshaw fitness regime? The structure though Dear God! Pryce/Long take the pass and turns it back or passes it wide. Why oh why do we not use our halfbacks like that. I am convinced when you see him do it that Tommy L can beat players with ease with his step etc but he's waiting out wide / Trent is waiting out wide and for what? If they get the ball where are the runners? Greg / Edward used to play close to the play of the ball then when they wanted to move it they would drift wider but they would have 3 runners to pick from.

Great Post, its almost word for word as to what i was saying on the journey home.
In the first half we had 12 tackles and LouLou didnt touch the ball once. Him and Barrett seem to play on opposite sides not together. after the play the ball barrett is one side and lulu the other. Half backs should be together. They cant even do a runaround together...and therefore the forwards dont know where to run.
Come on Noble if you cant see this then its about time you did one.
