I agree with the sentiment but far too many youg guns in there. You would get no more than 1 game from this team and then utter annialation on a scale never witnessed before.

I thought Barrett was the only one who was decnt last night. I watched him in one set of six and he ran everywhere trying to spark something, he did a long ball that led to a break and he was there for the next play but the other players were 20 metres behind the play. I feel sorry for him, he is made to look bad because he has too many players around him who arent up to standard.

I think last nights match has been a bit of a road to damascus for most fans, some were blaming the ref and individual players for previous losses, when there is a major prolem at the heart of our once mighty club.

the coach appears to have lost the dressing room, maybe his blind loyalty to his first choice team regardless of form is an issue maybe something else, but the club is bigger than the current set of journeymen we have at the moment.

either noble or leneghan will have to aquire some balls and root out the problem makers, this may involve sacking or paying off some very popular players or the coach but the club needs to survive, and at the moment it is suffering death by a thousand cuts.

noble needs to drop players, we keep hearing that tompkins is a graet talent and will be the future stand off, why is he not on the bench? or on the wing to learn his trade? our reserves are not the best, but we need to draw a line here and move on, players need to be dropped, and the youngsters given a chance, not wholesale, but one or two. but i wont hold my breath, expect the sma e disinterested under prepared unfit bunch or rabble next week

I really hope your having a laugh mate, he was terrible worst game i seen him play for ages, they all go on about trent being god and all this and that, he aint that good IMO, sooner they let him go the better, like hes arsed wot happens now, wigan are so stupid to be playing players that we know are definately not going to be with us next year, IMO *GET RID AND GET USED TO BEING WITHOUT THEM* barret would be the first!

Richards 5 (worst game for a long time)
Colbon 5 (tries so hard but never breaks a tackle)
Goulding 5 (Did nothing wrong bar maybe not passing to Colbon once. Really needs sprint training to get him some extra pace/optimise speed)
Carmont 4 (worst game for a long time)
Phelps 5 (trying hard. Never beat a man. The time he was dumped for a drop out was the all time low for me, every Huddersfield player chased in a line. When Phelps was dumped his teammates were 30 yards away)
Trent 6 (He put some good balls out, kicked a 40-20, horror mistake after half time)
Tommy 5.5 (Far better at 7, poor at 9)
Fielden 4 (No go forward)
Higham 6 (Our best?)
Coley 4 (No go forward)
Hock 0 (if you get sent off you usually get zero)
Bailey 5 (did nothing wrong, did nothing impressive, looked short of match fitness.)
Tomkins 5 (Tried hard, maybe deserved a 5.5 if he had stuck hold when he hit a gap and should have scored.)

Smith 4 (Unfit, some of his passes were very poor, not sure he hit the bread basket once, one awful kick, better player than he showed last night.)
Hansen 5 (Did nothing wrong, nothing special either)
O'Carrol 5 (How long was he given? Noble does not seem to rate him)
Feka 4.5 (Fitness getting worse. You need acceleration to go with the size)

I must still be in shock cause I agree with a lot of these ratings. O'carrol is not big enough, IL said in SS bar before game that Feka has lost a stone cause he is working hard, its a pity its not on the pitch. Hansen is a good defender but he offers nothing with ball in hand, Smith looked about a month from fitness and was rushed in probably still injured in desperation. Bailey should have been in the reserves or at best on the bench he also does'nt offer much in attack. Tomkins has great potential he defends well and runs good lines. Coley is average, we need a more agressive prop, Fielden tries hard but all the forwards are under achieving. When Higham was off the pitch we saw how important a specialist half back is. When did Tommy last put a player through a gap with a good ball or ask a defence any questions. Barrett just has'nt got the players around him willing to hit the gaps play after play and give him some options. Goulding looks overweight and Carmont has no options, Colborn and Phelps are not wingers they are both centres playing on the wing so they do not have enough pace.
