Any speculation amongst the Hudds fans on RLFans? I don't go there any more.
Just had a peek. Talking about Lockyer and a smaller ground

Strange. Neither of those really justifies all the hype.

My vote's either for a rename to Huddersfield Dwarves, another rename of the stadium this time to the Zippedydoodah Stadium, or a merger with their near neighbours of Blackpool thus creating the Hudderspool Giant Panthers...

Maybe they are to become linked with an Australian club - much like Leeds arrangement with Souths.

They share the best players, pool their resources, channel all their past success into future marketing exercises, have summer/winter training camps between one another, broaden the horizons of so many players without the full-time loss to either the NRL of the English Super League, save on salary cap monies........erm give them black pudding and tripe! and receive a case of Blossom Hill.

Not likely! More likely re-name the stadium to the "Park Hampers Savings Club Stadium" or suchlike.

They need to find a waste handling company based in a town called "Money" (I don't think there is one)

They could then change the name of their stadium to

The Huddersfield Giants Waste of Money stadium!

Huddersfield Hobbits would sound better...

A merger, though? I wonder...

Huddersfield Hobgoblins!

Of all the suggestions; a merger seems the "biggest"

They've already got Brett "it was the most money on offer" Hodgson for next season - so I can't see them being able to afford Lockyer and with the current hoopla over SBW leaving the NRL; I can't see how the NRL would allow it

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
