One things for sure, it has worked as far as promoting the Giants is concerned - I mean, Wigan fans are even discussing them on here!!
No matter what so called "big news" they claim they will announce. Eddie Hemmings was told by Phil Clarke, that the news will only concern the Huddersfield Giants era (10 years or so according to SKY last night). So NOT the biggest announcement in Huddersfield's history - just the "Giants" history

You have hit the nail on the head there. I reckon what is happening is attracting more inside in Timbuktu than in Hudderfield. I wonder if anyone is actually aware of it, or even cares what it is, within the actual village itself??
heard that they had bought there old stadium back and will be playing there from next season dont know how true it is sourse not that relieable just thought i would let u all know

Visited the Galpharm last season;Never Again!
£19 to get in and if there were more than 2 of you, you had to split up. Three quarters of the seats were covered in nets and the jobsworth stewards were insisting everyone fill up the odd few empty seats scattered about the small area which had been opened up!
5,000+ crowd of which 4,000 were Wiganers. It was obvious they had never handled a crowd so big before! I was against their being awarded a franchise when the likes of Widnes, one of the biggest names in RL and with acknowledged support, were overlooked!
Only £19, we were charged £21 behind the sticks. Went for four lagers, said on the front of the pump £2.30 when I gave the guy my money and waited for my change he said it was £2.50 a pint. Thieving so and so's, said I wouldn't go again but still do to follow my team. I was also made to pay £4 for parking with disabled supporters in the car and a blue badge
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Eddie Hemmings has just said there are allegedly more than 10,000 fans in the Galpharm stadium :conf:
Where are all these so called Giant supporters when they have to pay to get in :conf: :conf:

What a bloody let down that was!
Not surprising no-one ever bothers turning up there.
Season tickets from £80
That could clear almost a grand for them next year.
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."
Well was it worth the wait???? £80 season ticket prices for next year.
Wonder what will it cost the away supporters :conf:
