Re: Sam Reay
Widnes have been talking to Andrew Thornley although he may stay until he completes his university course. Sam Gee is going to Wigan Rugby Union. I believe Tuson when fit will move and Rhoden and Priest may not be retained. Brindle will leave too.TWO EYED WARRIOR wrote:Only a handful of the team who won the GF at the weekend will remain at the club
We could have lost Lee Mossop. His signing was protracted with other clubs very interested. Thankfully he re-signed.

Re: Sam Reay
From what you were saying in previous posts Thornley was one player we needed to keep hold of.
Re: Sam Reay
Yes PW. It is the younger brother Ian who is the better prospect.platt-warrior wrote:From what you were saying in previous posts Thornley was one player we needed to keep hold of.
Andy is a decent player but is one of those stuck between centre and second row. He started as an outside back but lacks either blistering pace/evasion skills/physicality to make it as a centre in SL so he has been playing second row this season. Lots of juniors end up falling into the 'Colbon bracket'.
