sam reay has been one of the outstanding players in the reserves this year gave 100% every match and as been a credit to the club leigh have got a very good player and you never know 1 good season could see super league clubs haveing a look at him as well as staunton i wish him all the best in the future

Widnes have been talking to Andrew Thornley although he may stay until he completes his university course. Sam Gee is going to Wigan Rugby Union. I believe Tuson when fit will move and Rhoden and Priest may not be retained. Brindle will leave too.

We could have lost Lee Mossop. His signing was protracted with other clubs very interested. Thankfully he re-signed.

From what you were saying in previous posts Thornley was one player we needed to keep hold of.

Yes PW. It is the younger brother Ian who is the better prospect.

Andy is a decent player but is one of those stuck between centre and second row. He started as an outside back but lacks either blistering pace/evasion skills/physicality to make it as a centre in SL so he has been playing second row this season. Lots of juniors end up falling into the 'Colbon bracket'.

I did'nt know until recently that the Tomkins clan are southern softies like me :wink: Milton Keynes I think.
