I kinda get the idea, but can anyone shed any real light onto the hating latics scenario? Anyone actually got any concrete info on why we should hate them so much?

I don't.I have a Latics season ticket as well as a Wigan one.

i apologise to latics fans on the board but i think that the reason why we hate latics so much is because

1. they think they are better than they are

2. the chairman is useless

3. the fans only turn out for big games e.g. wigan v sunderland had 18,000 with 5 thousand of them sunderland

4. the latics club has always been jelous and admitted so that wigan warriors is the main sport in the town

Thats still 13000 latics fans against a lower league club....more than we are getting at the moment for lower teams.

Speaking of Latics, any one know of any their players with initials of "JG"? ??? Or even from a past season?

Not sure about any of the players unless it's one of the youngsters, but until Paul Jewell left there was a member of the coaching staff called Joey Gallagher.
