Re: Mathers or Amos?
For the optimists on the site that "saw" improvements in him last season. All I can remember is the very last game of the season, were every kick down-field towards him was fielded by pat richards (especially in the second half), such was his total lack of commitment and the obvious concerns of his team-mates; that saw both richards AND mathers play full back just to cover for his obvious deficiencies.
I'm a better fan than you
Because I don't "Boo"!!!
Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

Leeds on their own ground kicking high into the lights half of which were missing sorry that does not add up. The team in front of him collapse. There were worse on the field than him. Barrett only played half the season so did Fielden. A bunch of pessimists feeding on gossip. Experts echoing other peoples posts. Mathers for fullback every time.

If they are his comments then I can safely assume you going to be very disappointed this season to see others in the full back slot other than mathers.

Give over Jim, how many other fullbacks have played there without any problems with the lights? That's just an excuse, and not even a good one. Anyway, we're not talking about just one game, but the whole season bar one or two games. He was even dodgy in defence against Warrington in December, but fortunately it didn't matter then.highland convert wrote:Leeds on their own ground kicking high into the lights half of which were missing sorry that does not add up. I really do hope he does improve this season, but I'm glad we've got cover if he doesn't.
