Stobart Stadium for Semi
Re: Stobart Stadium for Semi
It won't sell out imediately. Its on the tele. Many season ticket holders won't want to buy tickets. Remember how few were there for the Bradford semi (admittedly in different circumstances).
Re: Stobart Stadium for Semi
I'd guess about 5k each for the clubs, plus 3.5 k for neutrals/corporate/freebies etc.OAMJS wrote:so what will the split be on tickets then seeing as we have so called 9000 + season ticket holders
It will be interesting to see how our sales go - the Catalans semi got over 10k, and most by far were ours (the rest being Wires in Cat shirts).

Widnes may be a first division team butmrs feka wrote:Credit crunch, aye at £25 for some of the tickets cheapest 18 behind sticks , I can sit in west for that if i wanted to.
Dear for a small stadium and 1st Div team.
A)It's a better ground than many Superleague clubs have and
B)The cost is down to the RFL (Robbing Feeble Losers) only.
Nothing to do with Widnes.
Surely we could sell out Eastlands two main stands?

Warrington Wolves will be taking on Wigan Warriors at The Stobart Stadium in Widnes on Saturday 8th August, kick off 2.30pm in the Semi-Final of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
An allocation of 5,400 tickets has been received with Wolves Season Ticket holders having priority booking for Cup tickets; they will go on sale on Wednesday 3rd June at 10am at The Halliwell Jones Stadium. Initially purchases will be limited to one ticket per season ticket book.
Tickets are available in three areas of the stadium with the main allocation being in the East Stand:
East Stand (Behind posts) - £18 for Adults/£5 for Children and concessions
South Stand (Main stand) - £20 for Adults/£8 for Children and concessions
North Stand - £25 for Adults/£10 for Children and concessions
The Season Ticket book must be presented when purchasing and voucher 17 will be removed, ticket holders with more than one book may purchase the equivalent number of tickets.
Demand is expected to be high from the Wolves faithful so to make purchasing tickets for the East Stand as easy as possible the turnstiles in the Halliwell Jones North Stand will be used. Please note that only Cash will be accepted for East Stand sales via the turnstiles.
North and South Stand tickets can be purchased from the Wolfware club shop.

Re: Stobart Stadium for Semi
£5 for kids aint bad (not that I've got any to bring).
Will be trying for West stand tickets (behind the sticks).
Think it is an ideal size for our semi, as should be heading for a full house with good atmosphere. Rather be at Widnes with a full house than a half empty large stadium.
Stil think they missed a trick by not having it at a 40k stadium with both games on the same day. Give Wigan and Stains the 2 sides and Wire one and a half ends, allowing 3k for all the Hudds supporters (ok maybe 2k then).
Think adults are a bit pricey, but if you weigh up how much it would have been to travel to say Hudds (for both sets on fans), it's probabaly evened out cost wise.

no mention any where of how many our allocation is but surely we have at least the same as Wiresjosie andrews wrote:Warrington Wolves will be taking on Wigan Warriors at The Stobart Stadium in Widnes on Saturday 8th August, kick off 2.30pm in the Semi-Final of the Carnegie Challenge Cup.
