It's their game so they decide the prices.

i woudn't have minded using leigh sports village, you can't get any more modern, or up to date.
Saints are just wiganers who haven't fully evolved

A capacity of only 13,500 says it all CP.cpwigan wrote:What do people think?
Personally I think it smacks of a lack of ambition from the RFL. A capacity of 13,500 in a less than desireable location.
The Wigan v Wire Semi at Maine Road was a great occasion. The City Stadium, The Reebok or Deepdale would have shown far more ambition on the part of the RFL and been more fitting stadia for such an occasion.
Just not big enough for two well supported Rugby League clubs.
20K + seater stadium required for this CC Semi Final.
Whats the RFL link with Widnes.

capacity of 12700 and closer to both teamscpwigan wrote:Unfortunately not big enough LRA

Mmm on that basis then probably a far better choice. Not sure why I thought the capacity was 10,000 but on the capacity you quote far better geographically and a better facility particularly in terms of the whole complex, parking etc etc.
