"Lee is developing more playing for Huddersfield than he is for our reserves," added Noble.

Lee Mossop and Danny Sculthorpe have both had to do additional physical conditioning stints because neither were up to the standaard of existing Huddersfield players. That IMO is very telling.

Would Wigan not be the beneficiery if Fielden went on loan to Huddersfield & we got Lee Mossop back.NICKYKISS wrote:Agreed. It's the best place for him simply because he'll get a chance to play, thats something that wouldn't happen here and even if it did it would only be for a game or 2 until he got the drop for an older head wheather his place be deserved or not.
Let him stay there until the end of the year and hope that we get a new coach in who'll appreciate his and the other younger players talents more then Noble does.

Yes, but they wouldn't be daft enough to take on Fielden's wage rather than Mossop's.Panchitta Marra wrote:Would Wigan not be the beneficiery if Fielden went on loan to Huddersfield & we got Lee Mossop back.NICKYKISS wrote:Agreed. Mossop wanted a loan until the end of the season. IL wanted it week by week. Hetre's something to ponder. Mossop signed an extension at Wigan after turning down an offer of a 3 year contract at Huddersfield. 12 months later knowing what he knows now would he have made the same decisions given the same options?

Could Wigan not supplement Fielden's wage and still benefit.GeoffN wrote:Yes, but they wouldn't be daft enough to take on Fielden's wage rather than Mossop's.Panchitta Marra wrote:Would Wigan not be the beneficiery if Fielden went on loan to Huddersfield & we got Lee Mossop back.NICKYKISS wrote:Agreed. Its Nobby's self fulfilling prophecy, playing in the reserves so therefore not up to the fitness levels/ skills required for Super League therefore they shouldnt be picked for the first team.cpwigan wrote:Lee Mossop and Danny Sculthorpe have both had to do additional physical conditioning stints because neither were up to the standaard of existing Huddersfield players. Ainy didn't get any first team time last year therefore is sometimes exposed making Nobby feel he was right to drop him... cause and effect. Had he been a Hudds last year he would have played a few games, worked on his development areas and be top try scorer this year having played in every game.
Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."

Just a thought and it may have been covered elsewhere.
An hypothetical situation:
End of Season, Wigan and Huddersfield have the same number of points but Hudds have a better points scored difference so they end up higher. Right?
What if Lee Mossop has made that difference by scoring tries for Hudds?
How mad is that!!!!!

did he not play in the barrow match and therefore is cup tied?
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure

He's on a week to week loan so if it ever happens they just recall him the week beforeWigan_forever19 85 wrote:did he not play in the barrow match and therefore is cup tied?
