Noble Sacked???

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

No, but I'd have had much more respect for Lenagan and the others in charge if this had been done weeks ago. Or at least straight after the Celtic mess. Leaving it nearly a fortnight, letting them have holidays, letting the Hock situation explode...... then doing it (if this thread is true) is plain unprofessional in my opinion.

Noble is one unlucky bloke - this is the second time he's been sacked from Wigan in the last month or so!

If there is any truth in this would it not have been better to change Nobby's title to director of rugby and put Wane in charge of the team. Nobby wouldn't have to be paid off and if he didnt like it he could leave. Other clubs have done similar things in the past eg Darryl Powell @ Leeds IIRC.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

If he didn't like it he could sue for constructive dismissal.
