Calderwood better than Offiah

Many movies on youtube, here's a good one. 1m15s try for GB was magic... Offiah had the flair and cheek which made him a great. Who cares if he couldnt tackle, Wigan only lost a handful of games in that era anyway.

Watch it properly!

Nearly all those tries were the result of bloody good teamwork before slipping the final pass to the fastest person on the park!

I still reckon Calderwood could have scored in that situation. And I reckon Ainscough will be as good given as much opportunity!

Sorry Kittwazzer but but most of thoes tries still needed a lot of scoring and the other's were scored because of his great support play.Rugby league is a team game and each player plays thier part and Offiah played his part very very well.Im a fan off Calderwoods but i dont think he would have scored half the tries Offiah did.But i think Rocket Ronnie would have scored more than Offiah did. :D :D

Calderwood doesn't and never had the same quality. Half of those try's he would have cut inside and looked for someone else to pass too and the opportunity lost! No Bottle, at least when Offiah had a chance you knew it was a try.

Not if he was playing alongside the quality Offiah was blessed with!

Offiah excelled at widnes, wigan and london broncos, and indeed rugby union, he scored tries with many differing playing partners consistantly. Over 400 tries.

Calderwood has sadly gone downhill from leeds > wigan > hull, how many tries? on a par london broncos were ok when offiah went and what service did he have? not yeaman for example.
