Aye but did you see any of those Bulldozers that were going to rip up the pitch? as a gardener i had to laugh at that posting. The can rip up the turf and relay new turf as much as they like, but it wont make a bit of difference if there is still a drainage problem.


We all know that RL gets the blame time and time again for the state of the pitch, when it seems IMO that its a conbination of where the stadium is, where the drains drain into and lack of real investment into getting the problem sorted once and for all. If you do thinks on the cheap you can moan about how things turn out can you.

another factor that doesn't help the pitch is the fact that the Pathetics like it very short. so much so that its still cut quite regularly in the Winter. (when was the last time you had your lawn-mower out).

on comparison, the Rugby aren't as fussy about lenght and allow it to grow a little more over the summer.
