CP -That artical on the salary cap was good and shows us that it is just as bad as having no cap at all,but when you know that unscrupules clubs are finding ways around the cap It means they have an advanage over other clubs which makes the cap evan more unfair than having none at all

Re: Storm must sell players
amos will be our 1 next season and for rest of this as he's been outstanding and can not really defend kicks to wing, so for me slater is a no brainer. inglis would be awesome but lets get real none of them are gonna come to uk because of losing their internatinal place, so i suspect they will go to another NRL club or yawnion, inglis has had massive offers from aussie rules...show me the money

Re: Storm must sell players
Amos will not be our number one when he gets back, our number one will be Phelps, this is how MM wants the team structered or he would placed Amos at FB in the first place, it's not Rocket Surgery

maybe so CP but the way i see it, if MM had wanted to play Amos at 1 he would have done so at the start of the season, hence he must have wanted Amos on the wing and Phelps at 1 for a reason
Re: Storm must sell players
Not necessarily - remember he didn't have much to go on in the way of form before the season started, and he's shown many times that he's willing to select people on form in whatever position he thinks best. A lot of players, Amos included, have forced their way into the team on this season's form, and Madge has shown he's willing to play people on form, not reputation.medlocke wrote:Oh Bugger, looks like i've been sleep posting againcpwigan wrote:You could regret that post our Big Hairy Bikermedlocke wrote:Amos will not be our number one when he gets back, our number one will be Phelps, this is how MM wants the team structered or he would placed Amos at FB in the first place, it's not Rocket Surgery![]()

He said right at the start that squad numbers meant very little, and he's been as good as his word.

Live in same town Medlocke,
I agree Geoff N, I like the way MM has no fear of dropping anyone, (or resting as he likes to call it), with this it makes all players give that bit extra as they never know who is 'rested' next. unlike the noble days where you could almost name the team a week before the game
